Short extract:
Hi All,
I am currently studying for my masters degree in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management at the University of Manchester. As part of the course, we have to complete a 15,000-word dissertation on a topic which we want to research. I decided to do a study on Biodiversity Offsetting, which is titled: An assessment of the effectiveness of biodiversity offsetting practice within the UK EIA system.
In order to do this, I have been using scientific journals, case studies from the DEFRA offsetting pilot and gathering information from professionals who have experience with this system.
I am writing on here to appeal to anyone who could possibly contribute to my dissertation through any insight that they have into this system, opinions on how the current system operates and potential recommendations on how practice could be further enhanced in the future etc.
If you have any information which you would like to share, please do not hesitate to contact me either through LinkedIn, or my university email: christopher.seaton-3@postgrad.manchester.ac.uk.
Any information shared can remain anonymous if you so wish, and I could also provide a letter from the university if necessary.
